Lenovo, known primarily for laptops, has been pushing into the smartphone arena for some time now, where they are trying to impose themselves in the growing segment of gaming phones. The upcoming Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming phone is revealed with detailed specifications and a teaser video.
The Lenovo Legion Y90 should be in the sun soon, as evidenced by a fairly detailed list of device specifications. Figures on paper announce a powerful phone intended primarily for the gamer population.
Legion Y90 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip, which we have not yet got to know first hand in this area.
The screen will be a spacious 6.92 AM AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch response.
It comes with up to 18GB of RAM for super smooth gaming and multitasking, and with 512GB of data memory there should be no shortage of space for a handful of games and applications.
An important item is certainly the battery, and the Legion Y90 should not fail in terms of autonomy. It will have a 5500 mAh battery and will be charged at 68W.
This source does not state whether the device will have two USB C ports like some of its predecessors, and I tested it on an Asus ROG 5S gaming carcass.
The published video teaser also reveals that it will get a symmetrical design of the back with a camera module in the middle, modeled on the Legion 2 series.
The gaming experience will also be thickened by special Dual X-axis vibro motors for better haptic response.
