Rumors and rumors suggest that Vivo’s upcoming flagship smartphone will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and will be called the NEX 5, meaning the company will resurrect the name of its series in the process. There are also rumors circulating that the phone will come with a very large 7-inch screen and will have a rear telephoto camera with better specs compared to what we’ve currently had a chance to see from this company.
The new NEX 5 smartphones should soar Vivo devices among the best
Vivo has previously hinted that its former top-of-the-line NEX line of smartphones will return in 2022, leading to speculation that the first of these devices will become the OEM model ideal for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Recent leaks have echoed these assumptions. along with an intriguing suggestion that otherwise this supposedly upcoming 3S 5G successor could stand out in the premium Android market.
To be more precise, rumors talk about how the manufacturer seems to be thinking in the direction of the fact that cameras with telephoto or periscope lenses have not developed much so far. The OnePlus 10 Pro has one with 3x zoom that looks a bit stagnant, and the other flagships don’t seem to have it at all, not even the new Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Some of the biggest improvements, mentioned with the NEX 5 model, relate to camera enhancements
By comparison, the NEX 5 could only have one capable of fivex zoom. although Digital Chat Station also fails to detect whether this specification will be optical or not. Still, the alleged Vivo flagship could win in this area.
Accordingly, the OEM could hope that this whole aspect of mobile photography will go out of fashion as quickly as it currently seems: other companies have already given preference to the latest wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle technology (not to mention the potential for slow expansion high-intensity zoom on your smartphone). Speaking of cameras, it should be said that the name Zeiss is associated with them. If Zeiss really is behind the production of cameras on this smartphone, it means that we do not have to doubt the quality at all.
Other notable features include a huge 7-inch screen and 50W charging capability
By the way, the NEX 5 is now also advertised as a real phablet with a screen size of no less than 7 inches diagonally. Some users might be happy with this; however, the same screen can always be a polarizing quadruple curved variant. As for other features, the smartphone can come with support for wireless fast charging of 50 W. But again, these specifications have not been confirmed, which means that this should be understood with a large dose of reserve.
