Megatrend Business Solutions presented its current projects at the Power of Data Conference
The conference part began with a cross-section of the company’s business in the turbulent 2021, when part of Megatrend business solutions was separated into a separate company Data Target and taken over by IT company Comping. Anđelka Strajher, CEO of Megatrend Business Solutions, introduced the participants to the projects the company has been working on for the past year – from developing its own applications and solutions based on artificial intelligence to a specialized database for machine and deep learning and data management platform.
Berislav Sokač, business associate of Megatrend business solutions, presented the company’s own developed application Hospitality Insights, which allows guests to use satisfaction surveys (During the stay & Post stay), create internal checklists for faster and easier execution of regular tasks for employees and management collection, processing and efficient use of information. Berislav presented the possibilities of the application and reports with which the management can easily spot trends and possible problems in real time (Net Promoter Score, Customer Satisfaction Score). At the conference, a professional development team showed a demo of using the application, so that those gathered could see first hand the ease of use and speed of insight into smart reports.
We learned from Domagoj Marić, Head of the Data Science Department at Megatrend Business Solutions, how to use artificial intelligence and computer processing of natural language to a safer Internet. As part of Domagoj’s presentation, we learned more about the problems of phishing attack detection and how Megatrend’s Phishing solution, which is being developed in the Croatian language, will soon be able to help us with that.
Renato Telen, CTO of Megatrend Business Solutions, presented the IBM Cloud Pak for Data integrated platform for data collection, processing and analysis in companies. Renato pointed out that today every company becomes a data company, and introduced the participants to IBM’s platform that allows companies to better integrate and engage all data for better business results.
