In our detailed review, we praised the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro on the Czech market a few days ago for premium materials, high durability and long life. What five features do we think are the best on Huawei’s new watch?
Elegance you won’t find anywhere else
Unlike phones, smart watches are still considered a jewel by many, and in the case of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro, this is doubly true. If you like the hallmark of luxury, but at the same time you want practicality, you will certainly be interested in the presence of sapphire glass, which covers the AMOLED panel with a very high maximum brightness and fine resolution. The GT 3 Pro series also features a unique all-ceramic design that combines extreme scratch resistance, anti-allergenic properties, but also high color fastness thanks to UV resistance. The premium impression is undoubtedly completed by the hilarious haptic response, which you will encounter especially during the rotation of the crown, which also serves as a button to return to the main screen.
Unprecedentedly high durability
We are already used to increased water resistance up to 5 ATM for most smart watches, but the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro series also adds IP68 certification to the top, while Apple’s competition boasts only IP6X. A complete novelty is the fulfillment of the technical standard EN 13319, for which it was first necessary to successfully complete 200 rounds of water pressure testing. Thanks to this, it is possible to dive freely with the watch on the wrist to a depth of 30 meters. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro also features a special diving mode that measures not only the depth of the dive, but also the length of the breath hold and other important values.

Sports mode for every occasion
A wide range of sports modes, including popular activities such as running, walking and swimming, this year was complemented by a golf mode or the aforementioned mode for divers. When playing sports outdoors, dual GPS (however, the watch also supports Beidou, QZSS, GLONASS or European Galileo) will also please you for the most accurate route recording. We also consider it a great advantage to be able to add a chest strap to the sensors integrated in the watch, which can be paired in the Huawei Health application, which also stores the measured data.

Long life and wireless charging
An invaluable advantage of Huawei smart watches is the long endurance, which in the case of the larger 46mm variant is up to two weeks on a single charge. In addition, there is no need to have a charging cradle on hand for charging, any Qi standard wireless charging pad will suffice.

Doctor on the wrist
Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro now has the ability to monitor the ECG (the feature will be available to users due to the legislative process of approval of all permits in the second half of this year), alerting users to sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation or premature heart and ventricular rhythm, which is information about major heart health risks. In addition, however, the watch is able to monitor the heart rate, blood oxygenation or wrist temperature very accurately.
