71 percent of the allocated funds from the European Union were paid out

A total of EUR 10.73 billion (HRK 81.56 billion) is available from the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) for the period 2014-2020.
By June 2, 2022, projects worth 13.48 billion euros (102.46 billion kuna) were contracted, or 125.63% of the allocated funds.
A total of EUR 7.70 billion (HRK 58.52 billion) was disbursed, ie 71.75% of allocated funds, and EUR 6.25 billion (HRK 47.50 billion) was disbursed, ie 58.24% of allocated funds.
If we look at the original allocation of ESI funds 2014-2020 in the amount of 10.73 billion euros to which we add 763.17 million euros from REACT EU and 597.56 million euros added to the Rural Development Program, the total allocation until 2023 is 12.09 billion euros.
In the period from 2013 to 2 June 2022, the difference between the funds paid from the European Union budget to the budget of the Republic of Croatia and the funds paid from the Croatian budget to the European Union budget amounted to HRK 49.51 billion in favor of the Croatian budget. Including the advance paid for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Croatia is up HRK 55.64 billion.
