Music and sports – a combination that has always gone well together and has always been heavily used by Apple. Apple is currently releasing new training sessions every week, using well-known performers such as Daft Punk and Co.
“For four weeks, new artist-driven workouts will appear on Apple Fitness+ every Monday for different exercise types like cycling, HIIT, strength training, yoga, dance and treadmill training.”
Strength training with Daft Punk
New this week is strength training with music by Daft Punk, a yoga session with sounds by Elton John and a HIIT workout with music by Katy Perry. Do you prefer cycling? Then you can do that with music by Prince.
New Artist Spotlights
All of this falls under the heading of Artist Spotlights. Apple currently offers over 50 workouts there, each of which is dedicated to a band or artist in terms of background music. Katy Perry has this to say about her Spotlight
“I know it’s good for me and I need it to prepare for my PLAY residency in Las Vegas, but sometimes music is the only thing that gets me through a workout. I hope these artists in the Workouts Spotlight on Fitness+ motivate people to exercise and have fun while doing it!”
