Digital transformation and data transfer to the cloud

Companies are facing the problem of unlocking data and therefore many of them are moving to the cloud which allows them to generate new data thus creating new business values. The data generated and stored on the cloud can later be used for analysis and can bring value to the business itself. Companies need more and more data to be able to provide quality service to customers and therefore must have a system developed to respond almost immediately, eg an agent in a call center must have a real-time database available to help the customer.
While everyone assumes that the biggest problem of digital transformation is the lack of data management engineers, Cetto and Leygues state that the real problem is the very mindset that companies have when embarking on digital transformation. Many companies have not even started their digital transformation for fear of transferring their data from their data center to a cloud space unknown to them. Although Google Cloud is more secure than its own data space and is used by more than 100,000 users. The big advantage of the cloud is that the content can be tested and downloaded very quickly.
