A new adventure in the lands of Thedas.
In addition to unveiling a name and logo, the Canadian studio BioWare suggests that the Inquisition and Dreadwolf opuses of the Dragon Age license are connected: “Solas, the terrible wolf. Some say he could be an ancient elven god, but others say otherwise. Others say he betrayed his people…or that he is a savior who now seeks to save them at the cost of your world. His motives are inscrutable and his methods sometimes dubious, earning him a reputation as a trickster god, a player in dark and dangerous games. Whether you’re new to Dragon Age stories or have experienced them all, the use of Solas’ namesake undoubtedly suggests a spectrum of endless possibilities as to where things can go. But at the heart of it all, as in all games past, is you. If you’re new to Dragon Age, you don’t have to worry that you haven’t met our antagonist yet. He’ll show up as he should when the time comes, but we hinted at his return when we announced #TheDreadWolfRises in 2018.”
May the Dread Wolf take you.
