This information is not official, it comes from anonymous sources, which are claimed to have been sent. If they are true, then it is a bit worrying because the whole entertainment industry is slowly turning to one and the same companies, which could soon have complete control over the market. Which is not good in any sense. But the actors involved in the story are also aware of this, they themselves note that regulators could very easily stop work.
“Negotiations have come the furthest with NBCUniversal, but over the past month they have completely disintegrated,” an anonymous source claims.
The gaming giant decided on such negotiations after Microsoft bought Activison Blizzard for 68.7 billion US dollars earlier this year. At that moment, a more vigorous search for a new and rich owner began.
It seems likely that there will be other big deals of this kind in the near future, meaning Microsoft has launched an avalanche.
