Schneider Electric has announced its new range of Uniflair refrigeration solutions with screw compressors for large data centers. The new range provides efficiency and precision with the possibility of configuration to adapt to current and future data center cooling challenges.

The new air-cooled cooling systems provide increased cooling capacity with lower electricity consumption and ensure high energy efficiency in all conditions. Uniflair refrigeration systems with screw compressors are among the first solutions to use refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP).

“With sustainability in mind, we have designed the latest Uniflair Chiller air cooler that provides companies with outstanding energy efficiency and reliability, even in challenging conditions. By using green refrigerants, combined with reduced energy consumption, the entire range confirms Schneider’s commitment to purposeful innovation and sustainability, while providing customers with a future-friendly solution, “said Pankaj Pathak, Director of Cooling Segment, Secure Power’s Cooling Segment, Schneider Electric.

Schneider’s latest Uniflair systems from 300 to 2200 kW represent major improvements in the efficiency and reliability of data center cooling. Cooling systems, in new sizes and configurations offer a modular configuration and are packed for easier and faster infrastructure implementation, integrate a free cooling system that uses outside air to minimize energy consumption, without affecting unit size, reduce annual energy consumption and cost of ownership.
