Flagship – folding smartphone Huawei Mate Xs 2
One of the main products that Huawei introduced in Istanbul was the folding Huawei Mate Xs 2. It represents a milestone in the history of Huawei. Once laid out, the smartphone screen becomes flat and smooth, giving users a more compelling experience, perfect for entertainment and work. It is also equipped with a 50Mpx True-Chroma camera with Huawei XD Optics support, which takes mobile photos up one level. The new smartphone also boasts 4,600mAh batteries supporting 66W fast charging.
New smartphones from the Nova series – Nova Y70 and Nova Y90 – were also presented at the event. The Nova Y70 will surprise users with a powerful 6,000mAh battery that requires charging only twice a week. The Nova Y90 has a 40 W fast charge. It charges to 53% in just 30 minutes. Both devices ensure comfortable use thanks to large displays, while the Nova Y90 has a 6.7 “frameless widescreen display and the Nova Y70 6.75” widescreen display.
Huawei MateBook D 16 & 16s
Huawei also saw a large increase in work from home, adding a pair of new 16 “widescreen displays to its notebook portfolio. Introducing the Huawei MateBook D 16 and Huawei MateBook 16s in Istanbul.
The MateBook series is powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core H-series processor with TDP up to 40 W, dual-channel RAM and a high-speed SSD that handles multitasking and complex applications such as data analysis, code compilation, opening multiple web pages or graphs. The computers have a light metal body with a weight similar to traditional 15.6-inch laptops.
MatePad Paper with e-ink display
Huawei also launched its first MatePad Paper e-ink table, which is designed to be portable, with a slim body and a light weight of approximately 360 grams. MatePad Paper is equipped with a 10.3 “widescreen display, which offers users the comfort of reading books, emails or messages. It is the first e-ink tablet with TÜV Rheinland Paper Like Display certification.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2
In the audio category, Huawei has introduced headphones that will delight all fans of crystal clear sound. FreeBuds Pro 2 are supposed to excel in excellent sound quality, which is achieved thanks to the Dual Sound system. The headphones use two integrated digital-to-analog converter chips and a dynamic controller with advanced frequency crossover technology to distinguish between high and low frequency. FreeBuds Pro 2 are equipped with the first Triple MIC ANS TWS system, which is able to provide 15% more options to reduce ambient noise compared to the previous model. In certain situations, up to 47dB of noise reduction can be achieved. The headphones are also equipped with three dynamic algorithms for optimizing sound listening, which are able to detect changes in volume, differences in the structure of the ear canal and changes in the state of wear in real time. They also support the All Scenario Seamless AI Life approach, making them compatible with any operating system.
