With Gitlab-as-a-Service, there is now an offer developed jointly by IONOS and codecentric, with which users can use the DevOps application for software development and versioning on a data-sovereign, scalable cloud platform.
IONOS and codecentric set up the Gitlab platform in the IONOS Cloud and take care of licensing, operation, updates and monitoring. Installation and deployment take place within 24 hours. Users receive full access rights to the GitLab web interface. The Gitlab instances are hosted in a dedicated environment and exclusively in German data centers from a German provider. This means they are 100 percent GDPR compliant. The features at a glance:
- Daily full backup of the entire database. The backups are kept for a defined period of time.
