In short: Apple has updated its Office suite today. iWork 12.1 mainly brings new templates.

No new hardware with new input concepts in sight, it will still take some time until iOS 16 and more – but there is an update to iWork 12.1. Apple mainly upgrades new templates and improves performance. Stage Manager is not mentioned, nor do we find any special adjustments on the M2. The last major update was in April, to version 12. Shortcuts for iWork were retrofitted there.
