Yes, yes, this is Sanitarium, a 1998 game developed by DreamForge Intertainment. Sanitarium puts you in the role of the protagonist Max who is on the verge of some kind of revolutionary discovery, but on the way home he experiences a car accident that throws him into a coma. After a car accident, Max wakes up in a sanatorium for the mentally disturbed with his head in a bandage and can’t remember who he is and what actually happened.
Your character, who is recognized by fellow prisoners as Max, must solve a series of puzzles that stand in his way, traveling through mysterious and dark spaces that seem to be the product of a sick mind.
