Seth Green has recovered his stolen NFT Bored Ape #8398. It will still have cost him 165 ETH.
NFTs are digital assets that can be very interesting. They are found today in a wide variety of fields. The actor Seth Green has an ambitious plan for one of his NFT Bored Ape, a little monkey he named Fred. Unfortunately, these digital assets are prone to piracy. And in these cases, the situation turns out to be delicate to say the least. Its ending, however, is happy.
Seth Green has recovered his stolen NFT Bored Ape #8398
American actor Seth Green has recovered his stolen NFT from the Bored Ape, but the operation will have cost him a lot of money. The least we can say is that this recovery of NFT Bored Ape #8398 will not have been easy. And if the operation was so important in the eyes of the 48-year-old artist, it is because Fred was to be the star of an NFT-themed TV series.
Blockchain history shows that 165 EHT – approximately $1,460, at the time of this writing – was transferred to an address belonging to @DarkWing84, the account that happened to have this Bored Ape #8398 after his flight. The NFT still has a warning label on the OpenSea platform indicating that it has been flagged for suspicious activity. This prevents the asset from being able to change hands on this marketplace.

@DarkWing84, also known as Mr. Cheese, told BuzzFeed News that he had absolutely no idea the non-fungible token had been stolen. He has repeatedly insisted that this purchase was made in good faith.
Anyway, the NFT Bored Ape #8398, aka Fred, is once again in the hands of Seth Green. This should settle once and for all any questions for the continuation of the American artist’s TV series project. Now hopefully everything goes well until the launch of said series.
