Solex is a brand that has spanned generations and decades, through its famous and iconic moped produced in more than 8 million units between 1946 and 1988. Owned by Easy Group Bikes, the company has experienced enormous financial setbacks in 2019 before raising the bar.

Today, Solex has diversified through a catalog of electric bikes including four models. And in this year 2022, the company is returning to the charge with the E-Solex, a brand new trendy cycle expected in early July on the occasion of Pro-Days 2022, the professional bicycle show organized from July 3 to 5 in Paris.

« We hope that new generations will form an emotional relationship with the product, as our parents were able to do.“, explained Raphaël Raynault, in charge of the communication of the project, in the columns of the Parisian . And for the occasion, Solex has pulled out all the stops.

Launch in 2023

First, the design of the vehicle was placed in the hands of Pininfarina, an essential Italian entity specializing in the design of automobile bodywork. Secondly, the production of the E-Solex should be 100% French and dispatched to the four corners of France.

Above all, its price could make more than one think about the expensive price range set by the manufacturer.

Solex, a price that stings

It is indeed a question of a ticket of 4599 euros, which clearly places it as an electric bicycle out of reach of the general public. But Solex uses a small commercial technique which is the leasingto lower the note and attract the most interested.
