Strong growth of internet traffic ICT Business | TechBuzz

The crisis has pushed traffic growth because everyone has realized that they can work from anywhere, that meetings can be remote, and video streams have become an everyday part of life in all segments from work to entertainment. Data from the domestic telecommunications regulator of the Croatian Agency for Network Activities (HAKOM) show that in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year, data traffic increased by 29.04 percent to a total of 805.6 million GB.

In the fixed network, data traffic increased 33.64 percent to 571.32 million GB. At the same time, it is 6.98 percent higher than in the previous or last quarter of 2021.

The mobile network achieved a turnover of 234.16 million GB with an annual growth of 18.99 percent compared to the first quarter of 2021. If you look at the growth compared to the last quarter of last year, the increase is 2.37 percent.
