Russian company Promobit is preparing for the production of the first Russian laptop called Bitblaze Titan BM15 based on the Russian Baikal-M processor. It is a 28 nm octa-core processor consisting of eight Cortex A57 cores up to 1.5 GHz and has an integrated Mali-T628 GPU with up to 700 MHz. Its TDP is 35 W.

What else does the Bitblaze Titan BM15 have to offer? The 15.6-inch IPS screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Also, you will be able to find 16 GB of RAM in the laptop (it also supports 128 GB and 2 × 64 GB, respectively) and an M.2 SSD with a capacity of 256/512 GB. Support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, four USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C, HDMI port, 3.5mm audio port and RJ-45 port is also included. Battery capacity is 6000 mAh. Customers will be able to choose the version with an aluminum or titanium case, and as for the OS, the laptop will run on Astra Linux or Alt Linux operating system.

Promobit plans to start production in the coming months. The first series will consist of 1000 copies, and all of them will be aimed at state-owned companies and companies with state participation. Prices will range from 100 thousand rubles to 120 thousand rubles, which at the current exchange rate is approximately 1600-1900 euros.
