Samsung has never been so good on updates. The Korean firm has now committed to offering 4 years of software support on its smartphones, now ahead of what Google offers with its Pixels. But this effort was also visible on the timing with which its updates were rolled out.

People waiting to try the next version of Android 13 should therefore be reassured if they have a Galaxy smartphone since Samsung seems to be currently working on a beta of One UI 5.

Hints that an early public beta is on the way for the Galaxy S22 come to us from South Korea as we learn SamMobile with a first name: S906NKSU2ZVF6. It would work for the time being on Korean Galaxy S22s, but should be offered later to other markets.
