An unchanged design, but still as successful
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 Classic does not make any aesthetic changes, and remains on a design very similar to that of last year. There is also the rotating bezel, which is just as practical for navigating. As for its finishes, nothing to complain about: they are impeccable.
On the screen side, the 42 mm version has a 1.2 inch diameter screen with a definition of 396 x 396 pixels for the smallest case. The OLED screen is of good quality, with enough brightness to be read comfortably in direct sunlight. In addition, the watch has the Always-on mode.`
The major change lies in the guts of the watch, which now runs WearOS 3 with the One UI interface. This change brings a new interface that is easy to use and fluid, but above all allows access to a much richer application catalog.
A very good follow-up health and sport
The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic incorporates many sensors. You will be able to take blood pressure and do ECGs – only for Galaxy smartphone owners. It will even be able to detect your snoring and offers continuous monitoring of blood oxygenation during sleep. As for the sports functions, the watch offers about ten training sessions on the brand’s official application, but you can enjoy many more physical exercises with third-party applications. Note that the Watch 4 Classic is IP68 certified to resist dust and immersion in water up to 50 meters deep.
It incorporates a more powerful chip than before, which improves the autonomy of the watch. According to the manufacturer, the watch is capable of holding about 2 days, or up to 40 hours of use for a recharge in 2 hours.
