Out of the blue, you can no longer send emails or access the address book in Thunderbird. Because these functions are in toolbars or menus that are no longer visible.
What happened there? In Mozilla Thunderbird you suddenly miss the directorybutton and the commands for compose or Recall from emails.
Solution: You probably just made a mistake. Something similar could also happen to you in Mozilla Firefox. Right-click on the wide (here blue) area in the title bar of the window. In the context menu you will see three entries in the upper area. Hook at least main toolbar and Accounts/Folders View on. If you also want to see classic menus, put in too menu bar a tick.
