Do you want to find the middle of your document or give the reader a comment for the final spurt of the last 10% of your writing? Here’s how.
Solution: In Word, use the Go to-Function. You can reach them either with the function key F5via keyboard shortcut Ctrl+G (ctrl+G) or in the tab Start via Edit/Find/Go. Click in the left column side, even if this does not seem sensible. Instead of the page number, type in the desired text as a percentage, e.g 50% (or 90%) and press Enter.
Watch out: You need eyes like a lynx now. Word places the cursor very inconspicuously at the beginning of the line that contains the middle of the document. However, there is no precise determination of the middle here.
