A smartphone without too many concessions
Devoid of the Pro mention, the Xiaomi 11T is a light version of the 11T Pro which revises its technical sheet somewhat to display a lower price than its colleague. The 11T is powered by a MediaTek chip and not Qualcomm as is the case for the Pro version, which integrates the Snapdragon 888. We therefore find a Dimensity 1200 chip coupled with 8 GB of RAM. A configuration certainly less powerful, but which delivers good performance on a daily basis. The Xiaomi 11T is good at multitasking, running apps, or playing 3D games without much lag. This model runs on Android 11 with the new version of the MIUI interface. The smartphone is also compatible with the 5G network.
To keep up, the 11T model has a large 5,000 mAh battery, allowing it to last a day without problems. On the other hand, if the fast charge is effective in recovering percentages quickly, it will fall short of the 11T Pro which recharges to 100% in just 17 minutes. But with the classic version, 36 minutes is enough to reach 100%. A very good score given the size of the battery. As for wireless charging, it is not in the game.
Aiming for the upper mid-range
The Xiaomi 11T has a few more advantages that it takes over from the Pro model. Like the 11T Pro, the Xiaomi 11T offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ definition of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. It provides very good image quality for watching your video content, plus HDR compatibility. Xiaomi is even thinking of offering 120 Hz on the classic model, for a very appreciable fluidity on a daily basis.
It consists of the same triple photo sensor as the Pro model: a 108-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 5-megapixel telemacro. Xiaomi’s 11T delivers decent results in any mode. Its main sensor should be enough for most users to capture beautiful, well-detailed shots. However, night shots are far from perfect.
