Xiaomi has just launched in France its new connected bracelet, the Smart Band 7. We take stock of the price, the novelties and the availability.

Almost a month after the presentation, in China, of its new connected bracelet, Xiaomi has just announced the release in France of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7. This new connected bracelet can boast of offering a larger screen and a battery of greater capacity while maintaining the main markers of the brand’s previous model, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6.
A bracelet in the line of Xiaomi models
We thus find a format very similar to that of the manufacturer’s previous bracelets, with a sensor that is integrated directly into a silicone bracelet. The activity tracker is however slightly larger and benefits from a larger screen, 1.62 inches – against 1.56 inches previously. The battery also gains in capacity, going from 125 to 180 mAh. Enough to allow Xiaomi to announce up to two weeks of use with its connected bracelet. Regarding the screen, we are entitled to a color AMOLED panel with a definition of 490 x 192 pixels, the same resolution of 326 pixels per inch as on the previous model. The brightness can go up to 500 cd / m², but the bracelet does not have an ambient light sensor.
Xiaomi has also revised its copy in terms of interface since, if the bracelet retains the same RTOS system, it is intended to be a little more dressed up with round icons.

On health measures, on the other hand, Xiaomi keeps the same formula. The Xiaomi Smart Band 6 therefore takes over the measurements of heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) already present on the Mi Smart Band 6. The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 also has a motion sensor in six axes to better measure your steps. However, if the bracelet is able to assess the distance of your training, this is done through the Bluetooth connection with the GPS of the smartphone.

Xiaomi also announces more than 110 sports training modes as well as water resistance up to 50 meters deep.
Xiaomi Smart Band 7 price and availability
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will be available only in black at 49.99 euros on June 22 and 23. Thereafter, it will be marketed at the price of 69.99 euros from Friday, June 24. Until then, be sure to check out our Xiaomi Smart Band 7 hands-on.
