Google is pushing forward some final adjustments with the Android 13 beta 4.1. This revision of beta 4 should be one of the very last before the arrival of the OS in final version.

Launched two weeks ago, Beta 4 of Android 13 will be the last to be deployed before the system arrives in final version. This week, however, Google decided to bring an overhaul to it in the form of Android 13 beta 4.1. The latter comes to refine the experience a little further by correcting the final bugs spotted by the Mountain View giant and its beta testers.
Among the bugs corrected by this beta 4.1, the problem of parasitic GPS and a Bluetooth activation bug. As XDA Developers points out, this update also fixes a particularly annoying problem with Wi-Fi. The latter caused the device to freeze, forcing it to restart itself after an attempt to connect to certain networks.
A beta 4 update reserved for Google Pixel
Anyway, here are the release notes released by Google:
- Fixed an issue that prevented an app from enabling or disabling Bluetooth if it did not have the BLUETOOTH_CONNECT permission, even if the app targeted an API level for which this permission is not required (Issue #232107689)
- Fixed issues that sometimes caused a device to crash and reboot when connecting to certain Wi-Fi networks (Issue #237308339, Issue #237886229, Issue #237878437)
- Fixed an issue that could impact Meet connectivity while driving.
- Fixed an issue causing GPS data to be misinterpreted in some cases.
For now, this Android 13 beta 4.1 is only available on Google Pixel devices. The latter is deployed in OTA directly to users of beta 4. And as usual, this update is also accessible through a manual download, requiring on the other hand to flash the target smartphone for installation.
