Many of you are probably wondering how come Huawei hasn’t given up on smartphones already, and they’ve done the opposite. Fresh rumors from the Huawei camp are now announcing a new Mate 50 series this fall powered by a new one Kirin 9000S chip and HarmonyOS 3.0.

Now even the sparrow on the branch knows that Huawei has been struggling with the sale of smartphones for three years. Practically at the peak of its power, Huawei was stopped after it overpowered Apple and took the 2nd place in the top list of the strongest smartphone manufacturers.

The Trump administration has halted their growth by limiting their access to American technologies. That’s what Huawei has been reining in, both software-wise and hardware-wise.

Due to the sanctions that are still in force, Huawei launched only a few phones with limited availability two years ago. Due to the loss of Google services and 4G connectivity, these devices of theirs are interesting to a far smaller number of customers.

However, they are not giving up, and as the company’s director said at the recent presentation of the Mate Xs 2 device, they never will.

In this manner, Huawei will reportedly present the Mate 50 series of premium phones this fall, or rather in September. Allegedly, there will be three models – Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS.
