Online orders from restaurants grew at remittance rates

Glovo, an application that connects users with restaurants, supermarket chains and stores, presented the summer trends of grocery ordering based on the activities of domestic and foreign users of this application in Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Šibenik, Rijeka, Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, Makarska and Kaštela.

Thus, according to data from Glov, in June of this year, in these Croatian tourist destinations, Croats and their guests mostly ordered burgers, pizzas, kebabs, popcorn and pancakes, as well as bananas, water and beer.

As expected, in June and the first half of July, the demand for summer products such as ice cream, watermelons and sun protection creams increased in Glov.

When it comes to cities, Zagreb and Split are the cities with the most orders throughout the year, but some of the cities on the coast, such as Split, Šibenik and Makarska, have recorded double-digit growth in orders since the beginning of this year’s tourist season.

Glovo achieves all this thanks to more than 1,000 partners, including restaurants, grocery stores and retail partners.
