Except for the color there has been no change. The phone is almost entirely in Bora Purple, including the frame. Samsung only opted for a contrasting color for the camera module on the back (source: Samsung).

The smartphone is in South Korea from August 10, 2022 for the equivalent of around 750 euros – just in time for the manufacturer’s unpacked event. According to Samsung, the version will also make it to the USA and Europe. In which countries exactly, Samsung has not revealed. There is also no information available on the euro price. It can be assumed that the Galaxy S22 will also be available in “Bora Purple” in Germany.

The fact that Samsung will later launch its flagships in a new color is not new. Even with the Galaxy S8 from 2017 there was a variant in “Orchid Gray”, a year later the Galaxy S9 followed in “Lilac Purple”.
