The operating income of Span, one of the largest domestic IT companies and exporters, in the first half of the year amounted to HRK 406.9 million, which is an increase of 4 percent compared to the same period last year. The most significant revenue growth, 67 percent, was achieved in the Infrastructure Services, Cloud and Cyber Security segment, which is in line with the Group’s growth strategy and is the result of an increase in the number of projects with new and existing clients.

Revenue growth in the high-value-added IT services segments offset revenue declines in the Software Asset Management and Licensing segment as a result of the situation in the Ukrainian market. Additionally, due to the war in Ukraine, Microsoft has enabled Span’s customers to use its products and services free of charge in the period from April 1 to December 31, 2022.

The share of revenue that the Group achieves in foreign markets for the first half of 2022 is 74 percent, with the most significant growth recorded in the US market as a result of large infrastructure projects for users in that market.
