This is precisely the result of the company’s active efforts to achieve digital transformation with the aim of achieving sustainable living and environmental safety. With the help of the Schneider Electric company, Međimurska vode is currently in the process of modernizing the complete centralized management system, which will contribute to an even greater degree of efficiency and better management of the water supply system in real time.
The use of advanced technologies and more efficient use of existing resources are imperative for Međimurje waters, and cooperation with the Schneider Electric company enabled them to implement smart and advanced solutions.
The first step related to the introduction of the AVEVA System Platform, the integration of which was carried out by Schneider Electric in cooperation with Duplico, a certified AVEVA partner. The entire monitoring and control system is centralized with the platform, which enabled managers and engineers to have 24-hour insight into the state of a number of facilities connected to the system, monitoring and analysis of operational work, as well as insights into malfunctions, as well as their prevention. With remote monitoring of the entire system, Međimurska vode thus ensures an even more reliable and economical water supply.
As part of its service, Schneider Electric, together with its partners, also conducted a series of training sessions with the employees of Međimurje vode so that they could independently maintain the system and carry out basic diagnostics.
“Schneider Electric has excellent technical support, which is extremely helpful when implementing ideas and working on water supply systems, as well as choosing the best technical solution adapted to our needs. At the same time, by going through seminars and trainings, we have the opportunity to apply all these acquired knowledge and skills for the further development and maintenance of our water supply, drainage and purification systems,” said Bruno Palašek, head of the Međimurje water drainage monitoring and management system.
The story of improvement does not stop there, so Mursko Središće and the settlement of Donja Dubrava will get new devices for wastewater treatment. These are devices based on Schneider Electric’s open IoT EcoStruxure platform, the integration of which will be carried out by the company Elektro-čelik.
“Our most important goal is to take care of the satisfaction of users of water services, and we want to provide them with a quality service of water supply and drainage and wastewater treatment, with the application of the lowest price for water services, a simple procedure for reading and billing, and timely and useful information and efficient resolution of all consumer complaints, because the users of water services are important to us and we are here because of them”, added Palašek.
