Do you have an Apple Arcade subscription? Then this month it is possible to play some new fun games on your Apple devices. OMT editor Jeroen explains which titles those are.
Apple Arcade is Apple’s gaming service. For the amount of 4.99 euros per month you can play an unlimited number of games that are especially suitable for iPhones, iPads, Macs and the Apple TV. Over 200 games are currently included in the subscription, so there really is something for everyone.
New games on Apple Arcade
Just as you are used to with other services, such as Netflix, the offer is regularly updated. Games disappear, but new ones are added. This month you can expect four new titles on the platform, including a well-known one.
Amazing Bomberman | now available
Let’s start our list with a game that you can really call a classic. The history of Bomberman goes way back. The first release dates back to 1983 and was then only playable on the arcade cabinets.
The game has been given a new look for Apple Arcade. Amazing Bomberman is the newest member of the family. You will of course do exactly as you expect: throw bombs. But this time it’s a little different because the fights are set to music and rhythm.

With a gun you have to shoot down all the opponents and get as far as possible. In this second part you have even better graphics and animations. It is the ideal game or to play on your iPhone in between.

What is immediately noticeable about this Apple Arcade game is that the graphics look very cute. In this game you follow the journey of Kosmo: a clumsy boy who wants to explore outer space and search for his robot friend Nova. Due to a fateful accident, Nova has completely fallen apart and her parts are scattered all over the world. You have to match them in this point-and-click adventure game. This reminds you all the way back to the 90’s.
Apple Arcade: increasingly a pleasure
Where in the beginning there was still quite a bit of criticism around Apple Arcade, the service is increasingly turning out to be a real must-have. In 2022 it is seen as one of the better options in the field of gaming and in that regard it directly competes with the Xbox Game Pass and Google Stadia.
