FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have reconnected Dark Souls 3 PC servers seven months after a security breach was discovered. Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 should follow.

Seven long months after FromSoftware shut down its PC servers Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2 et Dark Souls 3 due to a security issue, the studio is finally starting to reopen them. “Dark Souls 3 PC version online features have been re-enabled,” reads a tweet from the official Twitter account. Last January, we learned that malicious people had found a flaw in Dark Souls 3 which allowed them to remotely execute code and take control of a player’s PC. The two entities hoped to have their servers back online for the release ofElden Ring in February. It couldn’t be done.
