In recent weeks, Motorola made an effort to announce the arrival of the new generation Moto Razr flip smartphone and the new Moto X30 Pro flagship.
The first was supposed to be a new refreshed clamshell with a refreshed design, this time with flagship innards. The latter is also a flagship phone, which should have been the first to bring a 200MP camera.
The CEO of Lenovo, which is behind the Motorola brand, Chen Jin explained briefly on the Weibo social network that today’s Moto event is being cancelled.

No reason is given for this cancellation just a few hours before the scheduled event, but politics may be behind it all. Namely, the president of the House of Representatives of the US Congress announced a visit to Taiwan.
The Chinese did not like that at all, so they said that “the Americans will pay for it”. Maybe these two events have absolutely nothing to do with each other, and maybe they are in the forest, as the famous joke says.
