The new SSD-disk is characterized by extremely high speeds and above-average energy efficiency. The NVMe SSD-disk 990 PRO is equipped with the latest Samsung flash with V-NAND memory and a new controller, and provides currently the highest speeds available through the PCIe 4.0 interface. Furthermore, this SSD-disk boasts sequential data reading speeds of up to 7450 MB/s and data writing of up to 6900 MB/s, while its ‘random’ reading and writing speeds are up to 1400 K and 1550 K IOPS (input-output operations per second).
