Normally something like this wouldn’t be worth reporting, Appleinsider also writes, but in this case the charity auction deserves a small, tongue-in-cheek look. Sam Struan worked as a Specialist at the Apple Store Buchanan Street Store in Glasgow, Scotland from 2010 to 2012.
Sam Sung sells Apple business cards
The curious thing is, he performed there under the name “Sam Sung”. This name is also noted on his business card. The auction consists of a framed employee T-shirt, a lanyard and this business card. Sam is raising money for Children’s Wish BC & Yukon.
At the time of writing this article, the auction is still running until Tuesday, August 23. and 31 bids have been submitted. Currently the level is 620 Canadian dollars. This corresponds to approx. 476 euros. Sam hopes the set will come to an Apple fan who appreciates its worth and, more importantly, wants to do something good.
I hope this card goes to an Apple enthusiast who also wants to contribute to a good cause
Sam Struan aka Sam Sung.
A previous auction with only the business card, no t-shirt and no lanyard had raised 2500 Canadian dollars for the good cause.
