The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 would switch to a USB-C charger. Good news for recharging which would be very interesting in less than 30 minutes.
If we are eagerly awaiting the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4, these are not the only products that the firm will present in August. Samsung is also preparing a new range of connected watches: the Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro.
With less than a week to go from the Samsung conference, both watches are the subject of a new charger rumor.
Charge rapide 10 W en USB-C
It is once again the @_snoopytech_ account on Twitter which reveals this information with visuals which seem to come directly from Samsung.

According to the author of the tweet, the charger for the Samsung Galaxy Watch will connect via USB-C and will offer a power of 10 W. Enough to recharge the watch to 45% in just 30 minutes. If the new Galaxy Watch 5 offers good autonomy, it could be a winning combo for Samsung.
Do not panic at the mention of a USB-C charger, we are talking about a USB-C adapter to a magnetic connector. It will always be as practical to put down your watch to recharge it. The USB-C port will therefore connect to any USB charger.
