The famous isometric strategic RPG, which places players in command of a unit of fighting warriors, will be back next November on consoles and PC in a remastered version.
Remaster of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together released in 2011 on PSP, which was itself a revamped port of the original 1995 game on Super Nintendo, Tactics Ogre : Reborn follows Denam Pavel through a story of political intrigue and betrayal in the Valeria Islands, jewels of the Obero Sea, following the death of Dynasty-King Dorgalua Oberyth. In addition to evolving the narrative based on certain choices at decisive moments, players will have to take control of a team of units on the battlefield and will have to take advantage of the turn-based combat system to act with strategy and gain the advantage over the enemies.
Improvements in Tactics Ogre: Reborn
Tactics Ogre: Reborn will feature a revamped combat system with a unit-by-unit leveling system, reworked AI, a simplified and improved interface, and gameplay improvements (faster combat pacing, auto-save, and a complete overhaul of controls) as well as reworked high definition graphics, fully dubbed cutscenes in English and Japanese, an orchestral re-recording of the soundtrack.
