Viber is now also available in the Microsoft Store and the Samsung Galaxy Store
Approximately 90% of users of Viber’s desktop version use the application from Windows devices, and 38.1% of monthly active users on Android own Samsung devices. This latest update will allow new users to download the Viber app easily and effortlessly.
Microsoft has always been a trusted partner that offers the latest cutting-edge technology for its devices as well as more than 669,000 apps in the Microsoft app store. The desktop version of Viber, available in the Windows Store, allows users to send messages and calls through Viber directly from their PC or laptop, which is a very popular feature. The desktop version can be used for everything from communicating with loved ones to managing business, group calls, interacting with channels and setting reminders. It also helps reduce eye strain by allowing users to sync the activities they have on the mobile version of Viber with – the desktop application and a larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy Store is available in 125 countries. With billions of active users worldwide across both stores, Viber will be available to ever-growing consumer bases on both platforms.
Previously, Rakuten Viber achieved incredible results, surpassing one billion downloads on the Google Play Store for Android devices. The app is also available on Apple Store, Huawei Store and Xiaomi Store.
