As development draws to a close, Fatshark explains the reasons behind this new postponement: “Delaying a game is perhaps one of the hardest decisions a developer has to make and we’re not very keen on making it. Nonetheless, we hope it shows our commitment to taking the time and doing whatever it takes to bring you the best game possible. While we’ve been honored by the great feedback on the game so far, we also need more time to improve the stability, performance, and maturity of key systems. Each of these elements is essential to ensure the best possible experience for you, the gamer.”
Technical tests and betas for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide with players
Martin Wahlund, CEO and co-founder of Fatshark, will involve the community so that the development accelerates in good conditions: “We will soon begin a series of technical tests and betas before our launch, to ensure that we bring you the best version of the game. If you want to participate, you can register for a chance.“
