In a few weeks we will finally know exactly what the iPhone 14 has to offer us. In any case, one thing seems to be certain: there will be no mini variant on the market this year. Or have we been wrong all along and Apple manages to surprise us in September?
What seems to be certain anyway is that, in addition to the regular iPhone 14, a Pro and Pro Max will also appear. A fourth device will be added, in the form of the Max. Where we could enjoy a mini for the past two years, Apple is coming with a larger model this time.
No more iPhone 14 mini
The mini-iPhone seems to really disappear this year. Not without reason, because the smaller smartphone has performed worse than Apple expected in the past two years. Time to try something new and give the iPhone 14 Max a shot. Although not everyone seems to agree with this theory.
Today, 91Mobiles reports, based on Evan Blass, that Apple will still bring the mini-iPhone to the market. Blass is usually known for his accurate Android rumours, but in the past also managed to predict the iPhone 12 and HomePod mini well. A considerable source, which this time seems to be really wrong.
There are several indications that it is not so likely that an iPhone 14 mini will come. The first clue is the reports of many reliable analysts such as Ming-Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman. They already claim that the small smartphone will not appear this year.
Several things don’t seem right
Second, another message from Blass also seems to be incorrect. He also reports that there will be a 10.2-inch iPad, while the reliable source Ross Young says that the new iPad will have a 10.5-inch screen. He also seems to be wrong here.
Third, Blass claims that a new iPad will be released in September. This also doesn’t seem right if we are to believe the well-known and respectable Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman. He says it will be announced at another event in October at the earliest.
Whether Blass is the only one right, we will probably know on September 7. Then the iPhone 14 will most likely be presented. We’ll tell you all about it in the article below!
The iPhone 14 will most likely see the light of day on this date
