The legendary tooth, the ilitiga notch in the screen, the haters have been hating from the iPhone X to here. Admittedly, many imitated him with or without a reason.
In it, the iPhone carries a selfie camera, a Face ID circuit for biometric authorization and a call handset.
Last year, Apple somewhat redesigned the notch with the iPhone 13 series, and this year it will allegedly be replaced by openings in the screen. Although only on iPhone 14 Pro models.
Now, at the dawn of the official presentation, news is coming, allegedly directly from Foxconn’s plants, that the two openings, round and oval, will actually be one larger oval opening.
It will reportedly house a selfie camera, FaceID, and indicators for privacy protection. It’s that dot that arrived with iOS 15, and it appears in the corner of the screen when the device accesses the camera or microphone.
By placing that indicator there, you left even more room in the status bar.
Some Photoshop renders have already been put together, how it should look like.
Sounds interesting, though I wouldn’t really bet on this.
