Pre-orderers who were quick enough on September 9th – and didn’t have to deal with the problems of Apple’s online store that day – can also enjoy the delivery. The specified delivery time of what Apple says is the most robust and powerful Apple Watch quickly “slid backwards” on the day of the pre-order.
The new watch should also be available from other retailers from Friday. Amazon currently lists the watch as “Currently unavailable”, but a test order from the editorial office on September 9 was successful and, according to tracking, will be delivered on Saturday. So it remains exciting.
Whether the Apple Watch Ultra will really be available in sufficient quantities in all stores is not clear from Apple’s press release. Like at the beginning of the “AirPods era”, there will probably only be a few.
Speaking of AirPods. The second generation of AirPods Pro will also be launched on Friday. It is also unclear what the availability looks like here. At Amazon, Prime customers can still order them with next-day delivery. So there will be no shortage here.
The Apple Watch Ultra is available for 999 euros, the AirPods Pro cost 299 euros.
