GTAForums user „teapotuberhacker“posted 90 videos showing gameplay early versions of Grand Theft Auto VI, the new sequel to Rockstar’s popular game series.
At the moment, it is not clear how the mentioned user managed to obtain such “tricky” data, but in one of the posts he claims that he is the 18-year-old who recently hacked Uber. With numerous screenshots as proof, the young hacker says he may release more information soon, including GTA V and GTA VI source code.
Leaked footage is currently spreading across the internet at lightning speed, and can be found on YouTube, Twitter, Reddit and numerous other forums. By the way, in one of the more popular videos it is shown Luciaa female protagonist who together with a colleague Jason he robs a fast food restaurant and takes hostages.
There’s also footage of conversations between NPCs, the new interface and animations, and even Rockstar’s internal GTA VI debug tools for PlayStation consoles.
Although it is not currently known how old these recordings are or when Rockstar plans to release GTA VI, we remind you that the company officially confirmed in February that it is actively working on the development of the game.
“With the unprecedented longevity of GTA V, many of you are asking for a new installment of this series. With each new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered. Therefore, we are pleased to confirm that active development of the next GTA game has already begun,” Rockstar announced at the time.
