“As the leader in the Ambilight TV range, the OLED+937 offers an improvement in both picture and sound quality segments – an achievement for quality and officially confirmed for the 65″ OLED+937 model that won the Home Cinema Award at the EISA Awards 2022. Bowers Sound System & Wilkins has also been improved and for the first time has dedicated left and right drivers to create a true 5.1.2 specification with an increased output power of 95W. With the new improvements, a truly full and powerful sound is heard and felt in the room,” they claim in TP Vision.
The OLED+937 is one of the first models to feature Philips’ Ambilight Next Generation technology, which instead of dividing the rear LEDs into groups, now allows individual control of each LED to offer a wider range of colors and a more precise match to the image on the screen. The result is an even more impressive performance of Ambilight, which gives an even better impression of an image that extends beyond the borders of the screen.
Aurora’s new screen-filling feature combines a gallery of pre-loaded images and videos displayed together with ambient light to create an attractive background multimedia art show in the living room.
“The OLED+937 offers an excellent console gaming experience with a dedicated bar with on-screen game settings and a new VRR Shadow Enhancer feature designed to optimize gaming performance against the panel’s refresh rate. The speaker cabinet is still integrated as part of the TV stand, and now features Kvadrat Audiomix fabric on both the top and front, with specially perforated satin metal speaker grilles at each end,” TP Vision explains.
There’s also a new remote control incorporating motion-controlled backlighting, a high-quality silver finish and continuing the luxurious feel of the Muirhead leather-wrapped rear.
“The new OLED+907 follows and greatly improves on the hugely popular format of the original OLED+903 model by discreetly integrating the Bowers & Wilkins sound system within the overall silhouette of the model. Exceptional picture quality is ensured by the combination of the powerful 6th generation P5 AI processing with the Royal version of the latest OLED EX panel – and an integrated cooler – which offers 1300 Nit peak light output on the 55″ and 65″ models. Sound quality is also exceptional thanks to the Bowers & Wilkins 3.1, 80W sound system, with six front drivers aimed directly at the listener in a dedicated left, center, right (LCR) arrangement. Deep and precise sound is provided by a large, rear-mounted subwoofer supported by four passive radiators,” the company explains.
Self-proclaimed ideal for gaming on any gaming console, the OLED+907 features a Philips TV game settings bar and is compatible with Freesync Premium and G-Sync. It offers full resolution 4K 120VRR playback via monitor mode.
The cutting-edge European design includes a centrally-mounted, minimalist, flat-panel metal turntable finished in satin chrome, while a discreet sound box runs the full width of the bottom and is lined with Kvadrat Audiomix fabric.
The device’s minimalist metal frame has a closer, seamless connection with the on-screen image and Ambilight experience thanks to the narrower screen frame of the new OLED EX panel.
“Mini LED technology has further enriched TP Vision’s premium offer thanks to the combination of excellent picture quality and great value. Philips will expand the number of Mini-LED screen sizes with the addition of a 55” version in addition to the existing models in 65” and 75” sizes. Superior image quality is guaranteed by the inclusion of Philips’ 6th generation P5 AI processing and high-quality 120Hz VA panels with an impressive peak light output of 1,500 nits,” claims TP Vision.
The sound quality is equally impressive thanks to the integrated 2.1, 70 W system with two pairs of downward-firing tweeters, the company clarifies and adds that there are also two mid-range speakers plus a separate three-ring subwoofer and dual passive radiators mounted in their housing on the back of the device.
“The premium European design includes a gun-metal finish, a metal frame with a narrow band along the bottom edge that tapers to a minimal bezel on the other three edges of the screen. Dark anthracite anodized brush cut metal bars complete the design. Ideal for gaming, the PML9507 features a Philips TV game settings bar, Freesync Premium compatibility and full-resolution 4K 120VRR playback via TV monitor mode. The PML9507 also includes a sophisticated and elegant silver motion-activated remote control with a luxurious Muirhead leather-wrapped rear finish,” TP Vision concludes.
