As you know, last week Apple presented four new iPhone 14 models and new Apple Watch watches. It’s nice that Croatia is also in the first wave of availability of new iDevices, so you can be one of the first in the world to treat yourself to the new iPhone series 14.
This year, the iPhone 14 is the most affordable model in this quartet. It is equipped with a 6.1-inch screen and an A15 Bionic chip under the hood, and has a total of three 12MP cameras – one on the front and two on the back.
Unlike the iPhone 14 Pro model, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which will go on sale a little later, have the same notch in the front screen with the selfie camera and Face ID system.
At first impression, the iPhone 14 does not differ significantly from its predecessor, but it will get a chance to show what it can do. If nothing else, I expect even better photos from a selfie camera with autofocus.
It comes bundled with a USB C to Lightning charging cable, SIM eject pin and instructions.
iPhone 14 Pro Max – the Top Gun
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is a significantly larger phone, so its sales package is also larger, but inside you will find the same content.
The first thing you will notice is the new oval opening in the screen instead of the notch. Apple called it Dynamic Island, and some have already tried to copy it in software in the Android camp.
We’ve seen openings in the screen countless times in the Android world, but Apple has spiced up this one and made it more functional and interesting. What it can do and how much better it is than the previous notch, will show in the test.
Likewise, during the next week, the new A16 Bionic, Apple’s first 4nm mobile SOC, will show what it can do in terms of performance and energy efficiency.
On the back, the camera module is slightly larger than its predecessor, and in addition to two 12MP cameras, it also has a 48MP main camera.
On the front, we again have a 6.7-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. Among other things, this enabled him to implement the Always-ON screen for the first time on an iPhone.
Both models of course run the new iOS 16 with new Lock Screen and widgets.
