Sony Xperia 5 IV delivers 6.1-inch OLED screen in FHD+ resolution and with 120Hz refresh rate. It’s theirs again 21:9 high screen format.
It starts her up Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (not 8+, I guess so it wouldn’t be better than Xperia 1 IV) s 8GB RAM-a i 128GB data memory. It will be possible to expand the internal memory up to 1TB via microSDXC card slot.
Although quite compact (156 x 67 x 8.2mm, 172g), this Xperia has 5000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging, and wireless is also supported.
Xperia 5 IV has a total of four 12MP cameras. On the front is a 12MP selfie camera with support for 4K video.
So there are three on the back 12MP cameras, of which the main one has an aperture lens f/1.7pixels 1.8 microns and OIS stabilization.
Along with it, there is also an ultra-wide and a telephoto camera, and all three are capable of recording 4K video at 120fps and have Zeiss optics.
Of course, it has front-facing stereo speakers, and by God, a 3.5mm audio jack. It is waterproof according to the IP68 certificate, and the glass on the back and front is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus
It runs Androi 12 and Sony Xperia UI, which is very close to pure Android.
The Xperia 5 IV will be available in black, white and green at a price of £949. It is not yet known whether it will be here as well.
Finally, I don’t know about you, but I can stop thinking about what the successor to this phone will be called. Xperia 5 V?
