The new Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro are the freshest, and probably the best Wear OS smartwatches on offer. Samsung has designed them very nicely, and they promise better autonomy and even more precise monitoring of health parameters.
They also got new belts. It is about the so-called magnetic D Buckle with sports bracelets, which are easily adjustable in length, the excess does not hang around, and they are easy to close.
However, what is not easy and practical is placing the watch on the charging dock. That strap doesn’t really want to stretch all the way, so it keeps moving the watch away from the wireless charging pad, especially when it comes to Samsung’s original Wireless Charger Duo charger.
Many have resorted to elaborate WHAT IS IT solutions, which they share on Reddit, and some have even turned on 3D printers.
Samsung has now also seen an opportunity here, so it will offer a new charging dock for the Galaxy Watch. It will be a charging dock with an interesting design, which will raise the watch in such a way that the straps can be hung from the side unhindered.
This tiny notch on the back is probably for feeding the cable so that the dock sits flat on a flat surface.
Samsung has already announced it on its official website, but it is not yet known how much it will cost or when it will be available.
