Popularly Wargamingovo napucavanje World of Tanks has received this year’s biggest update, version 1.18, which has been active on the official servers since yesterday. Mentioned as the main attraction brings the long-announced branch of the new Italian tank hunters. Starting with the fifth Tierra with Semovente M41, we have a total of six at our disposal tank destroyera including the Minotaur, and they are decorated with a fairly strong frontal armor, which is why they are intended for aggressive play, a partially rotating turret, as well as cannons with an unusual loading system that takes some getting used to. Anyway, good reason for another round bed frame.
The upgrade also brings a new balancing of the existing tanks and their derivatives, so some like the “ten” Kranwagen and the extremely powerful American “seven” T29, to the disappointment of their fans, have been weakened along with the mass of others, while the performance of a few has been improved, but this is part of the standard adjustment process which Wargaming does neatly every now and then.
Test map Outpost, which was among the best rated in last year’s test, is included in the rotation, and combines open and narrow spaces for players to outsmart each other. The authors also state that major changes were made to the Berlin, Himmelsdorf, Pearl River, Murovanka, Redshire and Glacier maps based on player feedback and analytical data, and eight minor changes were made to the remaining maps, and the changes did not even bypass the party creation system. In particular, it is now stricter and aimed at the same number of light tanks in both teams, and only one per team of 7. Tierra upwards, while we will rarely see three artillery pieces in teams.
The authors did not miss the opportunity to announce the ninth season in a row, which is starting soon, and you can find all the additional information, of which there is quite a lot, on the official website.
