Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is postponed to 2023. This is in particular to be able to offer more locations. See you in a few months.
Netflix has been active in the video game market for some time now, notably offering mobile games, more or less exclusive to subscribers. And it is now clear that the streaming giant has big ambitions in this segment. The announcements in this direction are multiplying, on often emblematic licenses of the platform, most often direct adaptations. Today, it’s a highly anticipated game that is getting people talking, Oxenfree II : Lost Signals.
Oxenfree II : Lost Signals is postponed to 2023
Night School Studio has decided to postpone the release of Oxenfree II : Lost Signals. The sequel to the 2016 game Oxenfree won’t arrive until next year, so the developer announced. “So that Oxenfree II is really special and offers more localizations, we moved the launch window to 2023″, published the studio on Twitter. This postponement announcement comes right after Netflix announced that subscribers could download the original game for free.
This in particular to be able to offer more locations
The streaming giant had acquired Night School Studio in 2021. Given Netflix’s global audience, taking the time to localize the game into more languages just makes sense. By the way, the new “Netflix Edition” has subtitle support for over 30 languages. Oxenfree II : Lost Signals will be available on Steam, PlayStation 4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch when it becomes available sometime next year.
See you in a few months
A few more months of patience and you will be able to discover the new supernatural adventures of Alex and his band of friends in the face of ghosts and other creatures that may have arrived since they opened this damn portal. If you don’t know the original game, don’t hesitate any longer, it’s a very nice success.
The next laptop from Microsoft is talking about him. The announcement of the Surface Laptop 5 is approaching and we know more about its characteristics.
After Apple and Google, Microsoft will renew its range of devices in October before the end of year celebrations. In particular, we expect the presentation of a Surface Pro 9 under both ARM and Intel, but also a Surface Laptop 5.
For the latter, Microsoft could do the bare minimum if the latest rumors are to be believed.
A simple change of processor?
According to the website WinFuture, the Surface Laptop 5 should still be offered in two sizes with a 13 or 15 inch screen in 2:3 aspect ratio. The battery would remain unchanged at 47.4 Wh and the site assumes that the design should not change one iota.
The big news for this Surface Laptop 5 would therefore be the integration of a new chip based on the 12th generation of Intel Core processors. More specifically the Intel Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U equipped with 4 performance cores and 6 low power cores.
With the Surface Laptop 3, Microsoft had put forward the choice between Intel and its new partner AMD. Yet here, rumors seem to indicate that Ryzen processors would no longer be offered on this new generation.
I think it’s fair to say the new Surface lineup will use AMD Ryzen and/or Radeon. Probably on a new gen Surface Laptop, or maybe in the new Surface Studio. pic.twitter.com/thIzfStytg

It can be a great ally for you along the way WooCommerce system, which as an upgrade for WordPress helps you to create a modern web store in a very short time. How to do it – read below:
WooCommerce as an upgrade to the WordPress system
WooCommerce is actually a simple and very popular plugin that needs to be installed on the WordPress system. For those who don’t know, The WordPress system is actually the world’s most popular CMS (where more than 30% of all websites in the world are located) that allows easy management of content on the web. However, WordPress is extremely popular and is used by many people around the world – some because of simplicity, some because it’s free.
WordPress allows you to build your own website on your own server, ie. hosting. Given that it is WooCommerce upgrade to WordPress – WooCommerce allows you to build your own web store that does not depend on anyone else. Therefore, with WooCommerce you have full control over your web store and you don’t depend on any algorithms and other companies.
WooCommerce is actually a very common addition to modern websites that are increasingly converted into web stores. Today, it has become extremely popular to sell something online so web portals, as well as many blogs, are increasingly dealing with online sales. Do you also want your web store where you will sell some small items or a huge number of different products – WooCommerce is a great choice.
Simple installation of the WooCommerce system
Do you want to start your own web store? – you literally only need a few hours to do it. First, it is necessary to rent hosting and install the WordPress system on the hosting. The installation of the WordPress system is mostly simple, considering that it is carried out through the installation wizard – in just a few clicks of the mouse. Once WordPress is successfully installed you can merge into the back end of your new website interface.
When you are connected to the WordPress system, in the Plugins section you will find the option to add new plugins. There you can find the popular WooCommerce with just a few clicks which is mostly at the top of searches due to the large number of installations. When you find a WooCommerce plugin you simply install it with a few mouse clicks and activate after the plugin is installed.
Wizard for the initial setup of the WooCommerce system
After installing and activating the WooCommerce plugin – it’s time for the basic settings of your new web store. A special WooCommerce initial setup wizard will open in which you will have to go through several steps – before your new web shop is ready for use.
First of all, in the WooCommerce wizard it is necessary enter the name of the company and the necessary addresses where the new web store operates. Then it moves to the stage of language and currency settings, as well as control of other parameters of the web store. Of course, it is also necessary to define some frameworks for future products in a way to select categories and future product predictions.
Once you are done with the basic setup of the WooCommerce system, you can head to the WooCommerce Settings where you will find many more important details to adjust. For example, it is necessary to adjust the product delivery method and the region to which you will deliver the products. Also, it is necessary adjust the billing method and product warehouse control. Once you’ve set it all up, you can play around with some integrations that will make your business easier – especially if you’ll be working with a larger number of products.
Adding new products to the WooCommerce system
After you have successfully set all the basic parameters of the WooCommerce system, it’s time to start actually adding your products. Adding products to the system is relatively simple and consists of adding photos, descriptions and quantities in stock. Of course, you can also add various advanced information and attributes to make the choice even easier for customers. Also, it is possible to adjust various colors, dimensions, etc.
When adding new products, it is special attention should be paid to the price and the stock level. Namely, when your customers will buy 10 products, and you have stated that you have 10 products in stock – the web store will no longer allow customers to buy those products. Therefore, it is necessary regularly take care of the condition of the products in stock – so that what you have in stock is always available to customers.
It should be emphasized that in addition to regular product prices, it is also possible to set discounts on products depending on terms and quantities. Each product in the system is characterized by its own parameters so each product can have different prices and different discounts. In addition to discounts on individual products, it is possible to create coupons in the WooCommerce system – which can be applied to the total purchase.
Integrating the checkout system on WooCommerce
A very important part of the online shopping process is certainly the payment system. Namely, research shows that they are domestic customers are still quite skeptical of online stores so most of them still choose cash on delivery. So it’s smart for customers offer the possibility of charging the product after delivery by the delivery service. However, it is desirable to add some new payment options – especially e-banking or the PayPay system.
How to card payment integrated into the new web store, it will generally be necessary to agree cooperation with some of the Payment Gateway providers that enable simple card payment integration. The price of such additional systems varies, and mostly salary as compensation on a monthly basis – depending on consumption. Such systems are mostly integrated when creating a web store, although they can be done later – if you see the need for it.
The essence of the whole story about billing in the web store is – facilitate billing to customers. The customer must feel safe when making a purchase and must have a payment option that suits him. Therefore, cash on delivery is still the most popular payment method on the domestic market, but there are more and more people who pay with e-banking or cards. It is necessary to evaluate what suits your future customers the most – and then offer them these payment options.
Testing the web store before starting work
Law regulations partially regulate how the web store should look, which documents it should contain, and which rights customers have. You must comply with these legal rules – in order not to get into some problems. But about all that is the best talk to experts dealing with web stores and consumer rights.
To make sure that your new WooCommerce web store works well and reliably – detailed testing is required. First of all, it is necessary to check whether all products have been added to the system and whether they are visible to customers (depending on the set inventory). After that it is necessary to test the order and shopping cart system – and ultimately the billing system of the web store.
When the web store is completely tested and safe for operation – only then time to release to the public. Realistically, a web store with the WooCommerce system can be created in a few hours. However, in order for everything to work and work great (especially with a lot of products) it is necessary to pay a lot of attention to the setup of the web store. We wish you a lot of happiness and satisfaction in creating your new web store.

After presenting their new flagship in China last month, Huawei will now bring the Mate 50 Pro to Europe. It is also known how much it will cost.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro arrived two years after its predecessor. The pause is easy to understand considering the sanctions, which greatly hampered their smartphone business.
The Mate 50 Pro comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip, albeit with its 4G connection, as Huawei does not have access to 5G chips due to sanctions. It also has 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of data memory.
It has a large 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a notch on the top for the selfie camera and 3D Face Unlock system.
It got three cameras on the back, two with OIS. The main camera is 50MP, and it comes with a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4-f/4.0. It also has a 64MP periscope telephoto camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera.
Cameras have now been supported by Huawei for the first time with its XMAGE magic, since Leica dropped out of the game, which helped Huawei become one of the best smartphone cameras on the market.
Mate 50 Pro should not disappoint with autonomy either. The battery with a capacity of 4700mAh is charged at 66W wired with the charger in the package, but also at 50W wirelessly.
The Mate 50 Pro will arrive in Europe during the 10th month, and it is known that it will cost €1,299.
Apart from the price, it is quite clear that the biggest weight around the neck of this interesting phone will be the absence of Google services. Over there in China, where Google is as important as last year’s snow, the Mate 50 series is attracting a lot of interest.
It looks like they will reach the set goal of 10 million units shipped very quickly.

Vivo also has experience with flexible phones, thanks to the X Fold, which is unavailable in our country. The improved X Fold+ premiered today, but don’t expect too many visible changes. The appearance of the device itself has not changed in any way. At first glance, this is a standard large device modeled after the Galaxy Fold4. A certain innovation can be observed in the availability of a new color variant – red.
However, the main attraction will still be the internal flexible AMOLED display with a diagonal of 8.03″ and a resolution of 2,200 × 1,800 pixels. The cover is provided by SCHOTT UTG, which is an ultra-thin glass, a direct competitor to the solution from Samsung. The external display is a classic AMOLED panel with 6.53″ and Full HD+ resolution. Both displays have a 120Hz refresh rate, but only the internal one can reduce it to 1Hz. There are fingerprint readers on both displays – ultrasonic, not the more common optical ones.
We tried the Vivo X Fold, which is not available here. What makes this puzzle unique?
There were no intergenerational changes in the cameras. The main sensor of the Samsung GN5 has 50 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.8, while it does not lack optical image stabilization. There is also a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 114° field of view. However, there are two more cameras on the back. It is a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom and a periscope lens with 5x lossless zoom and up to 60x digital zoom.
We will come across more fundamental differences in the guts of the phone. First of all, a more modern processor is deployed. Specifically, it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1+, while the original X Fold had a version without the plus moniker. Furthermore, a slightly larger battery was deployed, when the capacity increased from 4,600 mAh to 4,730 mAh. A welcome change is definitely the support for faster wired charging, where the power has increased from 66 W to 80 W. A 70% charge takes only 18 minutes, and a full charge will take 35 minutes. There is still wireless charging with a power of 50 W, and 10 W reverse charging completes the list.
However, the flexible phone market will not be shaken even with this addition. Vivo announced at the press conference that the X Fold+ model will also be offered exclusively in the Chinese market.

Kobo’s Nia eReader is the Canadian firm’s most affordable eReader. It goes to the essentials, with a few functions to optimize reading comfort. Today its price is down: 79.99 euros against 99.99 euros.
Faced with the giant Amazon and its Kindles, Kobo brand e-readers are a very credible alternative. The Canadian company offers a number of e-readers, including one that is primarily designed for smaller budgets: the Kobo Nia. It is everything you expect from an e-reader: a compact format, containing a large library of books for a contained price. And the good news is that it becomes more affordable on the occasion of the French Days thanks to a discount of more than 20 euros on its initial price.
The strengths of the Kobo Nia
A 6-inch anti-glare screen
With front lighting for reading in the dark
Offered at 99.99 euros, Kobo’s Nia e-reader is currently on sale at 79.99 euros on the Fnac website, only via in-store withdrawal.
If the offer mentioned in this article is no longer available after that, please take a look below to find other Kobo Nia promotions. The table updates automatically.
Where to buy The
Kobo Nia at the best price?
An accessible reader
The Kobo Nia has a 6-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 212 pixels per inch, which is better than the Amazon Kindle (167 pixels per inch). Its glare-free screen allows you to read day and night. And for night owls, you can continue reading thanks to the ComfortLight mode. It will also be possible to adjust the brightness of the screen to make the light less aggressive for your eyes, or not to disturb your partner.
On the design side, we are entitled to a simple and solid plastic shell, with a textured back to prevent it from slipping out of your hands. It is also very light with only 172 grams on the scale. Its format makes it easily transportable to accompany you everywhere during your journeys, in transport for example.
This small reader comes with 8 GB of storage, which allows you to install thousands of books simultaneously, around 6,000 ebooks depending on the brand. You can download them via Wi-Fi from the brand’s catalog, without going through your computer. eBook (Epub, Epub3, PDF, etc.) and image formats are indeed present, as are digital comics formats CBR and CBZ.
Kobo has not neglected autonomy and provides several weeks of use on its reader before running out of battery. It will of course depend on your personal use, but with such a capacity, you will almost forget to recharge it. Be aware that, on the other hand, the Nia is not the reader made for reading in the bath, because it is not water resistant, unlike the Kobo Libra H2O and Kobo Forma models.

A quantum computer completed the work of 9000 years in 36 microseconds
Vanja Deželić, Dražen Tomić 26.09.2022.
The development of quantum computing is taking place at an increasing speed and progress is already very visible, especially after the latest success in Toronto, where a team of scientists managed to use a photonic quantum computer chip to achieve a solution to a complicated problem in 36 microseconds. Which wouldn’t be so significant if supercomputers and algorithms didn’t need 9000 years for it!
Yes, you read that right, 9000 years! The chip that could mark the true beginnings of quantum computing is called Borealis and uses beams of light to transmit quantum information. Of course, the scientists behind this see it as a huge step forward in the development of technology ready to create a revolution.
However, these are only initial tests, but the direction to be taken in order to achieve phenomenal results has been determined. In a few years, maybe quantum computers will become part of everyday life like classical computers are now.
And speaking of them… They differ from quantum computers in that they use a binary code, that is, they work in two states – 0 or 1. Quantum computers can be in three – 0, 1 and both. These are called “qubits”. Also, with classic computers, data can be encrypted in the “upper” or “lower” direction, and quantum computers can do it in all directions, which significantly speeds up processes. Progress has been made in this regard, and when all the tests are successfully completed, it will be possible to talk about true quantum computers and think about mass production.
You should also know that quantum computers are different from others because traditional computers are based on transistors, although ultimately all transistors are based on quantum mechanical effects. Some computer architectures such as optical computers that can use classical superposition of electromagnetic waves, but without specific quantum mechanical resources such as connectivity, do not share the potential for computational speedups of quantum computers.
With the AirPods Pro 2, Apple introduced a new operating concept – volume control directly on the bridge of the headphones. However, the new function may soon be deactivated.
In terms of usability, there are only a few changes to the AirPods Pro 2 – specifically, the only one is the volume control directly on the headphone bridge. With Beats, Apple sometimes uses its own buttons, the AirPods Pro 2 are controlled via a touch element. Depending on the situation and environment, this can have disadvantages.
Volume control can be switched off with iOS 16.1
Apparently, Apple is now following suit. With Beta 2 of iOS 16.1, the function can be completely deactivated on the software side. In our own test, we also had a false triggering – when listening to music on the couch. A welcome little change.
